We are looking for a Plant Supervisor for a permanent position at our Kittilä plant. Are you looking for a versatile role that combines practical work, quality control, and safety? Do you want to be the person who ensures the plant runs smoothly from day to day? As a Plant Supervisor, you are the driver of the plant's daily operations, ensuring that production proceeds safely, with high quality and efficiency. You are responsible for ensuring that our customers receive concrete that meets their orders and requirements on time. Your duties include, among other things: Production and Quality Control - Ensuring the smoothness of the concrete plant's daily operations and production - Concrete production as a concrete plant operator - Operational quality control and ensuring product compliance - Recording quality control data into the system Maintenance and Safety - Monitoring the condition of machinery and equipment and maintaining maintenance records - Taking care of maintenance and repair measures - Ensuring the plant's safety, cleanliness, order, and general operational condition, as well as related reporting and keeping records up to date Administration and Development - Reporting, inventory monitoring, and stock-taking - Continuous development of plant operations - Other operational plant tasks What does success in the role look like? During the first 6 months, you will have: - Become part of the team and gotten to know other important internal and external stakeholders more broadly. - Internalized the basic requirements of the role, learned to use the supporting systems, and learned to easily find the information needed for your work. - Learned to run the concrete plant independently, ensuring that maintenance and repairs are completed on time. By the end of the first year, you will have: - Successfully managed the plant's daily operations comprehensively and created an effective way to organize your work. - Learned to assess future major repair needs sufficiently in advance and been able to independently handle maintenance and wear part replacements, either yourself or through an external party. - Successfully promoted safe working practices, kept plant work accidents at zero, and developed the concrete plant's operations comprehensively. If necessary, driving a concrete mixer truck is also part of your duties. Any previous experience in the concrete industry or a similar production environment is considered an advantage.
