g2 Recruitment are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a high-profile Data Centre construction project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a complex, large-scale project within a fast-growing sector. You’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring technical excellence, programme alignment, and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the design process across all project stages - Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams (M&E, architectural, structural) - Ensure design delivery aligns with project programme, cost, and quality expectations - Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to drive design solutions - Manage design reviews, technical submissions, and approvals - Use digital construction tools to track design progress and coordination - Identify and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle Requirements: - 3–5 years’ experience in Design Management within construction - Proven experience on Data Centre projects (either client-side or main contractor) - Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) bias - Experience using ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) or Procore - Solid understanding of construction methodologies and design coordination - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment Desirable: - Background with leading contractors or major clients in mission-critical environments - Experience working on large-scale or hyperscale data centre builds If you are interested in this role, apply below or send your CV to contact@g2recruitment.com
