About the role

We are seeking a Planner for the Kuvataideakatemia’s study services to support the teaching and administration of our undergraduate and graduate programs in contemporary art and theory. The planner will work as part of the study services team and will primarily support the Bachelor's program in Art History and Theory, the Praxis Master’s program, and the academy’s shared theory teaching. Responsibilities include assisting teachers in course design, advising students and guiding study plans (HOPS), maintaining and updating the student information system, and advising part-time lecturers. The role involves close collaboration with teachers and other study services staff, and may include other duties within the Kuvataideakatemia study services and Taideyliopisto’s shared tasks. What we expect from you: a suitable higher university degree; knowledge of contemporary art or art theory, art history, or practices of art mediation; experience or interest in university study administration; excellent Finnish and English skills, and Swedish language proficiency; strong organizational, collaborative, and communication skills; an independent work style and ability to take responsibility.
