About the role

Vantaan kaupungin Kasvatus ja oppiminen is looking for a permanent Early Years Teacher for Havukallion day care starting 1 September 2026. Havukallion day care is located in a nature-rich residential area with good transport links. Our environment emphasizes children's learning through interaction with the surrounding nature and multiculturalism enriches daily life. We have five groups and recently renovated spaces to support functional and inspiring learning environments. We value approaching each child as an individual, supporting language development, social-emotional skills, and meaningful play. You will work with a variety of professionals including special education teachers and development teachers, and may participate in mentoring student teachers. We expect warm, cooperative teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to high-quality pedagogy in Finnish language.
