Tech Lead

Position Description: CGI is one of the largest IT and business consulting firms in Finland and worldwide. Tech Lead for financial services client transformation projects: We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead for our financial services software development projects and to participate in delivering major digital transformation initiatives. In this role you will plan and implement solutions that support our clients’ growth and modernization, and at the same time develop your own expertise among industry leaders. This role offers the opportunity to develop a key role in a large new system using modern technologies without the constraints of old systems. Key technologies include Java, Spring Boot, React, NextJS, REST, PostgreSQL and Google BigQuery. It is not mandatory to master all of them, but Java and React are prerequisites for success. Requirements: understanding of technical architecture; ability and prior experience to guide a development team and work as part of the client’s agile development team; holistic understanding of CI/CD pipelines in development; fluent Finnish and English in written and spoken form. We value experience in cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes); willingness and interest to develop own skills in how AI can be used in software development; finance and public sector experience.
