Job Advert – Senior Civil Project Manager (Power Plant Construction) Location: Frankfurt, Germany Contract: Freelance (12-month contract) Rate: €140–€170 per hour The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to support the delivery of a major power plant construction project in Frankfurt. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in civil engineering and heavy infrastructure, who have progressed into senior project leadership roles. You will oversee the delivery of key civil works including foundations, structural packages, and infrastructure systems within a complex industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of civil works on a large-scale power plant project Manage groundworks, concrete structures, foundations, and infrastructure packages Oversee subcontractors and site teams across multiple workstreams Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards Maintain strict adherence to health & safety and regulatory requirements Coordinate with engineering, design, and client teams Monitor progress, reporting, and risk mitigation Requirements: Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager / Construction Manager / Bauleiter Strong background in civil engineering, heavy construction, or infrastructure projects Experience working on power plants, energy projects, or large industrial builds Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary construction environments Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Desirable: Degree in Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen) Experience within energy, power generation, or industrial sectors German language skills Familiarity with German construction standards and regulations Why Apply?
