Welcome to join our disability services in the daytime activities of the Southeast region. We are seeking instructors for permanent employment. There are six positions distributed across three different units. The positions start on September 1, 2026, or by agreement. The instructor works in the Southeast region's daytime activities in Rovaniemi; the units are: Erkkilänkujan, Myllyntähden, and Varastotien units. Clients are adults and minors with intellectual disabilities. As an instructor, you will participate in the planning, implementation, client guidance, development, and responsible tasks of the unit under the leadership of the service manager and in cooperation with other staff. You will act as a social care expert in client situations requiring multidisciplinary expertise and participate in drafting various client plans as part of a multidisciplinary working group. The instructor works standard working hours, with working hours varying between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM on weekdays. WHAT DO WE OFFER? WHAT DOES THE POSITION REQUIRE FROM YOU? - Eligibility requirement: a licensed social or healthcare professional and a suitable university degree in social or health fields (e.g., Bachelor of Social Services, Gerontologist) or a previous vocational college degree in the field. Applicants who graduate before the start of the position according to the aforementioned eligibility criteria will also be considered. - Fluent written and spoken Finnish language skills. - Hygiene passport.
