As a Senior Occupational Health & Safety Specialist you will ensure that all activities related to the occupational health and safety of employees are performed effectively, compliantly, and on time across multiple countries supported by Remote. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing vendor partnerships, driving the contracting processes, and be in charge of rolling out all events related to health and safety across the globe for Remote’s employees. Manage and execute solutions for Occupational Health and Safety matters with minimal supervision across multiple jurisdictions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all Remote employees and prioritizing a superior employee experience for Remote’s clients and employees. Lead the ADA Process for employees requesting job accommodations due to medical conditions or disabilities. Evaluate medical documentation, perform job demand analyses (JDA), and assess physical requirements of essential job functions. Partner with HR, legal, operations, and external healthcare providers to evaluate, recommend, and implement reasonable accommodations (e.g., adaptive equipment, schedule modifications, modified duties). Monitor and coordinate integration between Workers’ Compensation, FMLA/STD/LTD, and ADA to facilitate safe Return-to-Work (RTW) / transitional duty plans. Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values and the Lifecycle team's goals. Location: Americas; Start date: As soon as possible.

- Lead the ADA Process for accommodations across multiple jurisdictions
- Partner with HR, legal, operations and providers to implement accommodations
- Coordinate workforce integration with Workers’ Compensation, FMLA/STD/LTD, and ADA
- Perform internal and external stakeholder guidance
- Manage vendor relationships and events related to OHS
- Conduct internal audits for Occupational Health and Safety
- Develop improvements to safety procedures
- Draft and develop Health and Safety policies
- Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values
Requirements
- Occupational Health and Safety experience covering multiple countries and regions
- Hands-on experience managing the ADA process and accommodations
- Vendor management and onboarding experience
- Ability to engage and support cross-country colleagues and vendors
- Strong analytical skills and process mapping
- Team player with proactive communication
- Growth mindset and ability to shift priorities
- Fluent English; additional languages a plus
- Remote experience a plus
