On the field, players’ task is to succeed; away from the field, the conditions for success are built: a shared direction, well-functioning everyday operations and a strong partner network are central to a winning club. At SJK Juniors, work is done both for the joy of recreational activity and for targeted player development. We are now looking for an Executive Director to ensure success in the future as well. Club leader, together with others Your task is to ensure that the club’s strategy is reflected in everyday life. You can clarify goals and put decisions into practice. You will lead a team of 10 people and ensure that everyday operations run smoothly and responsibilities are clear. Corporate and partner networks are central to the club’s activities, so you will actively meet businesses, initiate conversations and develop partnerships. What qualities will you bring? You have led people and know how to listen and make decisions. You help people understand shared goals and the means of achieving them. You understand finances and recognise opportunities for cooperation across the network. You are willing to contact a new partner and maintain relationships already established. You know the operating environment of Seinäjoki and the surrounding area and can use your local knowledge to build cooperation. You work fluently in both Finnish and English. A football background is not necessarily required. Your work is visible in the club and on the field At SJK-Juniors, you will be able to influence the club’s operations, development and success. The significance of your work will be reflected in children’s and young people’s opportunities to play, grow and strive to do their best. You will be supported by skilled staff and an active board.
