Financial Controller

BE Group Oy Ab is seeking a Financial Controller for the head office in Lahti. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the Finnish subsidiary’s external accounting, reporting and the accuracy and quality of financial data. The role combines strong financial expertise with business understanding and process improvement, in a close collaboration with the Business Controller and reporting to the CFO of the Finnish entity. Key responsibilities include: driving month-end, quarterly and year-end closing and ensuring accounting correctness; preparing financial reporting to the group systems (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow); ensuring IFRS standards and group accounting principles compliance; intercompany invoicing and reconciliations; regulatory reporting such as VAT and tax declarations; collaborating with auditors and the group finance organization; continuously developing finance processes, reporting and systems. Requirements include a suitable university degree (e.g., KTM or tradenomi), several years of experience in financial administration, strong bookkeeping and closing skills, IFRS knowledge or willingness to deepen it in an international environment, experience with group reporting or international operations, understanding of finance processes and development, good Excel skills and experience with ERP/BI systems, and fluent English. Experience with finance process improvement, automation and analytics is an asset.
