KPMG is seeking an experienced Tax Advisor to work with family and growth companies at their Helsinki or Turku offices. The role is part of the Tax & Legal services group, which consists of over 250 experts across Finland, providing a wide range of legal services to corporate and public sector clients. The position involves continuous interaction with other KPMG experts in taxation, business law, auditing, and advisory services nationwide. Key responsibilities include supporting the business and strategy of domestic family and growth companies, as well as the acquisition, planning, and implementation of assignments. The Tax Advisor handles tax returns, advance ruling applications, various reports, and the planning or implementation of corporate arrangements in collaboration with the assignment team. Additionally, the role is responsible for guiding the team's work, managing schedules, coordinating tasks, ensuring quality, and maintaining close communication with clients. Requirements include a relevant degree in law or business. At least 6 years of experience in tax-related roles, particularly corporate taxation, is required. Experience from tax administration, in-house roles, audit firms, or law firms is valued. Experience in corporate arrangements, tax issues related to asset distribution, and accounting is an advantage. Several years of experience in project management, supervising others, and client communication are essential. Excellent oral and written skills in Finnish and English are required. A proactive approach, strong interaction skills, and a desire to create value for clients in a complex environment are highly valued.
