Servica has an ongoing ESR+ funded Diversifying Work Communities project, the purpose of which is to provide opportunities for those who have: - weak language skills - neuropsychological challenges (ADHD, ADD, Asperger, learning disabilities, etc.) - mental health challenges - intellectual disability In the project, the intention is to tailor tasks taking into account each person's limitations and, as far as possible, map work sites and tasks from Servica where the person could be employed despite the limitations. Positions are not automatically available (rather, there must be a need to hire a part-time or full-time employee at the site). We process applications whenever we have a known open position for which we could hire a person with targeted work ability. Servica's main owners are the North Savo wellbeing services county and the city of Kuopio. Additionally, our owners include municipalities and corporate communities in Eastern Finland. We operate as an in-house company for our owners. Our services consist of food services, cleaning and instrument maintenance services, property technology and property maintenance, and logistics services.
