At Arjen Sydän, we provide a home-like and safe environment for children taken into care. What kind of work awaits you? The position is full-time and permanent. Work is performed in three shifts. The start date will be agreed upon with you. As an instructor, you support and encourage children and young people in everyday challenges and participate in the assessment of the child's care and education. You also serve as a primary instructor. The starting point of the work is listening to the client, respectful treatment, and supporting participation. Work is always done in close cooperation with guardians, the local network, school services, and social authorities. We work based on relationships and the attachment work framework. Salary The basic salary for the position is between 2,460.27 - 2,990.35 euros/month depending on your previous work experience. In addition to the salary, shift differentials are paid according to the private social services sector TES. What kind of colleague are we looking for? We expect a degree in Social Services (UAS), Nursing (UAS), or Practical Nursing. The job description is built together with you, and we strive to take into account your skills and interests. We value previous experience working with children and young people, especially experience in child welfare work, psychiatric nursing for children and young people, and child care and education work. The most important factors for success in the position are a genuinely client-oriented approach; the courage to meet every client as an individual based on their own starting point, good interaction skills, and flexibility in changing situations. Please note that the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children in accordance with Section 6, Subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). The selected person must have a social and health care professional card (ammattikortti) by the start of the employment.
