The Library, Archive and Archaeological Collections unit is responsible for the Finnish Heritage Agency's information management, such as records management, registration of matters and documents, content maintenance of the electronic document management system, and the information steering plan. The traineeship focuses on organizing and transferring unordered restoration material of the Suomenlinna Maintenance Board from one archive space to another. The tasks include reviewing and screening paper archives, cataloging, and boxing. Participation in the archiving process together with a records management expert. Additionally, the traineeship includes familiarization with the National Archives' official guidelines. This position is part of the government's goal to hire 500 young people into new fixed-term employment relationships during 2026. The selected person does not necessarily have to be a student; for example, you may be a recent graduate. We offer the trainee comprehensive orientation and guidance throughout the employment period.
