Do you want to do meaningful work with children and families as part of a multidisciplinary team? We are seeking an occupational therapist for a permanent position at the Lounatuuli Family Center in Pori! The work focuses on assessing children's functional capacity, planning rehabilitation, guidance, and occupational therapy. You will work in close cooperation with families, early childhood education, schools, and other rehabilitation, social, and healthcare professionals. In your work, you will support children's functional capacity and participation in everyday life and help find solutions to various challenges. Work takes place both at the clinic and in the clients' everyday environments, supported by a multidisciplinary team skilled in rehabilitation. We value good interaction skills and the ability to work independently. Previous work experience with children is considered an advantage. Success in the position also requires a networked and child-centered approach to work. You will be supported by an enthusiastic and encouraging multidisciplinary work community. We also offer, among other things, work supervision, training opportunities, hybrid work options where possible and agreed upon, and the necessary tools. We provide orientation for the position, support from a multidisciplinary work community, and the opportunity to develop your skills through training and collegial cooperation. Eligibility requires legalization according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994), as a licensed occupational therapist. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children according to Section 6, Subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). A driver's license and the possibility of using one's own car are an advantage in the position. Good oral and written skills in Finnish are required for the position. The terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The salary is determined according to the SOTE agreement, and currently, the basic salary for the position is 3023.75€/month.
