At the Tampere plant, we manufacture and package ophthalmic medicines used by patients worldwide. We are looking for a Production Planner to strengthen our Supply Chain team. In this position, you will take responsibility for production planning for solution manufacturing, filling and packaging. Your tasks: You are responsible for preparing the production plan at both the rough and fine planning levels. You work in close cooperation with manufacturing, packaging, purchasing and customer service to coordinate production needs, capacity and customer requirements. Your daily activities include: - rough and fine production planning - capacity calculations and production resource planning - requirement calculations for raw materials and primary and secondary packaging materials - creation of items, resources and recipes in SAP - management of sales orders and delivery times and creation of order confirmations - updating batch information and monitoring delivery reliability - reporting and KPI analysis What kind of expert will succeed in the position? You already have experience and credibility in working life and are not looking for your first production planning position. You enjoy being around people, want to understand practical operations and help teams ensure the smoothness of production. We expect from you: - commercial or technical education and at least 2 years of experience in similar positions - a systematic and proactive way of working - good cooperation and communication skills - a solution-oriented approach and the ability to operate in changing situations - ability to quickly absorb new information and manage several entities simultaneously - good Excel skills - fluent oral and written skills in Finnish and English We especially value interest in the pharmaceutical industry or experience with enterprise resource planning systems, such as SAP. Requirements
