Food Project Manager

Lantmännen is seeking a Project Manager Food to join the Food & Energy team within the Group Function R&D. Based at the headquarters in Stockholm, the role involves combining research, business development, and project management to create innovations from farm to fork. The Project Manager will lead research and business development projects aimed at creating new knowledge and business value, specifically focusing on the research portfolio for food, ingredients, and food processes, with a particular emphasis on cereals, legumes, and meat. Key responsibilities include identifying, driving, and coordinating projects for innovation and product development. The role requires close collaboration with various business areas to align research with commercial opportunities, as well as building strategic networks with external researchers, universities, and institutes. The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of selected projects, including budget and administrative management. Candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent academic degree in food technology, food processing, biotechnology, or chemistry. Experience in food research, particularly plant-based proteins, and project management in cross-functional or international environments is required. Proficiency in both Swedish and English is essential. The ideal candidate is driven, result-oriented, curious, and possesses strong relationship-building and analytical skills.
