Environmental and Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Specialist to join our Lahti factory in a permanent role. The role focuses on translating and implementing sustainability practices in daily operations, driving ESG data collection, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and customer requirements. You will advance sustainability across our production, materials, products, and supply chain, monitor industry regulations, participate in ISO audits, and support the sales team in meeting customer requirements while contributing to our sustainability communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to reduce environmental impact and risk, plus ability to turn regulatory requirements into concrete actions and clear data. Qualifications include a suitable university degree in environment, engineering, or commercial fields; experience with ESG development, reporting, and regulatory monitoring; knowledge of supply chains, production processes, and materials sustainability; experience with ISO management systems (ISO 14001) and maintenance; excellent collaboration, communication, and reporting skills; and ability to work across manufacturing, production, and suppliers.
