Field Service Engineer for Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment (Tokyo) Department: Plasma Technology Business Location: Tokyo Office, Sumitomo Fudosan Osaki Twin Building East Tower 5F, 5-1-18 Kitashinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo Responsibilities: Hardware setup and technical service for semiconductor manufacturing CVD deposition and etching equipment. Education: Vocational, technical college, or university degree in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering. Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills: - Knowledge and experience with semiconductor deposition or etching equipment preferred. - Experience with equipment setup in the semiconductor equipment market. - Experience in hardware work at semiconductor manufacturing plants (preferred). - Experience in hardware service for any industrial equipment (1 year or more). - Ability to interpret hardware and process technical data (electrical circuits, process chart flows, etc.) from equipment documentation (Required). - Ability to interpret and execute technical knowledge such as inspection methods from manuals (Preferred). - Ability to understand software configuration for equipment UI. - PC skills: Word, Excel (Required). - Technical writing ability. - English skills (manual reading, email correspondence with HQ, training in the UK). TOEIC 600+ preferred. - Valid driver's license. - Good communication skills with customers. Team player. High awareness of improvement and reform. Terms and Conditions: Working hours: 9:00-17:30 (Full flex system available with no core time). Standard working hours: 7 hours 30 minutes (Break 12:00-13:00). Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, Year-end/New Year, Summer vacation. Salary: Monthly salary (determined by company regulations based on experience and ability). Monthly basic salary: Approximately 500,000 JPY to 800,000 JPY (negotiable based on experience/ability). Bonus: Paid based on performance (company/individual). On-target is 15% of basic annual salary. Theoretical annual income: Approximately 7 million JPY to 11 million JPY. Salary increase: Once a year (July).
