We are now looking for a development-oriented and efficient Health and Safety Specialist for the Joutseno bakery in a permanent position. In this position, you report to the manager of the Joutseno bakery. You are responsible for the development and implementation of the Joutseno bakery's occupational safety culture, processes, and practices. You ensure that the working environment and operating methods meet legislation, company requirements, and best practices. Your duties include: - active development of the occupational safety culture - implementation and maintenance of processes and operating methods - handling safety deviations and root cause analyses - reporting and system management - training and guiding personnel You will act as the local occupational safety manager and lead the bakery's occupational safety committee. You will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager for Finland and the Baltics and other H&S experts and also participate in the implementation of global operating models and projects. We expect from you: - strong occupational safety expertise and experience from a production environment - at least 5 years of work experience in similar positions - education suitable for the position - fluent Finnish and good English language skills - evidence of utilizing root cause analyses - experience in change management projects Experience in the food industry is considered an advantage. You work independently and goal-oriented, put things into practice, and want to develop operations in the long term. Your approach is systematic and analytical, and you are able to make decisions even in changing situations. You naturally collaborate with different stakeholders and get people involved in doing.
