The Finance and Strategy service area operates as a centralized body for financial planning, steering, and implementation. It is responsible for the city's financial administration as well as the city's strategy, its coordination and monitoring, and the development of strategic management and the management system. You will be responsible for the operations and finances of the Finance and Strategy service area, and you will lead and develop processes and services related to the city's financial planning, financial administration, financial steering, and reporting. The Financial Director is responsible for preparing the entire city's budget, activity report, and financial statements, as well as developing the forecasting, monitoring, and financial sustainability of the city's finances. Your task is to create a networked and adaptable service culture together with the corporate administration staff. As a leader, you are inspiring and people-oriented, wanting to enable success and act as a guide. You will work in cooperation with six other service area directors and serve as a member of the corporate administration and the city's executive management team. We work flexibly according to a hybrid model, sometimes from a remote office and sometimes meeting colleagues face-to-face. Your workstation is located in the fully renovated administration building. The position is paid as a total salary. Remuneration is determined within the total salary model for the city's leading officials. The salary range is 7,500–7,800 €/month. There is a six-month probationary period for the position. The person selected for the position must present a medical certificate regarding their health status (T-certificate) before starting work. Those invited for an interview should bring original degree and work certificates.
