We are now looking for a restaurant worker for Xamk's restaurant services to handle customer service and cashier duties, cold kitchen production tasks, and catering tasks with serving rights at Restaurant Talli on the Mikkeli campus. The position is a fixed-term family leave substitute and is full-time. The position begins on September 1, 2026, or by agreement and ends on December 20, 2026. A probationary period applies to the appointment. What does the job involve? As a restaurant worker, you will primarily handle customer service and cold kitchen tasks, cash and billing transactions, and daily customer information tasks at Restaurant Talli. In this role, you will participate in coffee services and catering operations, the implementation of self-monitoring, the guidance of trainees, and the daily routines of the restaurant. Your closest colleagues will be the chef and the restaurant manager. Additionally, you will work with other restaurant staff on the Mikkeli campus. Why apply to us? We require a suitable degree in the field, an independent approach to work, as well as hygiene and serving expertise. We expect you to have work experience in both customer service and the cold kitchen within the food service sector. Additionally, we expect you to have expertise in the field's IT systems and cash transactions, and that digital customer information tasks are handled smoothly as part of your duties.
