Meyer Turku's machinery equipment department is responsible for the equipment of the ships' engine and deck areas, as well as the commissioning of the power plant, propulsion, water production and wastewater treatment systems. As a work planner, you are specifically responsible for the work planning related to swimming pool engine rooms and participate in supporting production in technical, scheduling and material management matters. Your duties include, among other things: - Planning of work packages and supporting scheduling - Monitoring work progress and schedules - Considering production needs in work planning - Monitoring material needs and supporting the ensuring of availability - Identifying possible deviations and risks and bringing them forward - Cooperation with production, design, procurement and other project stakeholders In addition, you participate in the preparation of tasks related to subcontracting, such as: - collecting technical material - defining material related to technical questions - preparing material for subcontract agreements You also support work management in, among other things: - tasks related to site supervision - organizing and implementing inspections - collecting and ordering material needs arising from the site What we expect from you: We expect from you a technical education suitable for the position (technician or engineer) as well as an interest in production and work planning tasks. In addition, we especially value: - good IT skills and technical understanding - a proactive and solution-oriented approach to work - good cooperation and interaction skills - English language skills Experience in shipbuilding is considered an advantage, but with us, you will grow into a shipbuilder under the guidance of experienced experts.
