Audiologist

HUS is seeking an Audiologist to join their expert team at Lohja Hospital. The role involves working independently in your own clinic, performing diverse hearing tests, and implementing hearing rehabilitation. You will have responsibility for varied patient encounters and the opportunity to utilize your expertise. While the work is independent, you are supported by a skilled team and work in close collaboration with an otolaryngologist. You will have a real impact on your own work and participate in developing services within a multidisciplinary team, including making clinic work more patient-friendly. For those with a background as a registered nurse, there is an optional opportunity to expand the job description to include ear, nose, and throat disease clinics, providing additional variety and development opportunities. The unit is renewing and development-oriented, valuing cooperation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Candidates must be licensed healthcare professionals with audiologist training. Required language skills include proficiency in Finnish and Swedish (one at a good level and the other at a satisfactory level). Vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act and a tuberculosis health certificate are required.
