Chief Physician Psychiatry

We are seeking a permanent Chief Physician for the HUS Psychiatry East and Central Uusimaa line hospital operations, starting 1 October 2026 or as agreed. The role is based at Hyvinkää Hospital’s psychiatric wards 1 and 2, which operate as acute and treatment wards within the psychiatry line. We are responsible for acute ward-based psychiatric care in the area and provide high-quality specialised health care to our patients. As Chief Physician you lead the medical activity of the wards, participate actively in development, and in addition to administrative duties perform clinical patient work on wards 1 and 2. You will supervise resident physicians and coordinate the medical activities of psychiatric on-call duty and the neuromodulation unit. We offer a diverse and responsible role where you can influence both treatment content and service development together with a skilled multi-disciplinary staff.
