About the role

We are looking for part-time responsible instructors for students' Yrityskylä Satakunta to make the world's best school day a reality. Yrityskylä Elementary School is a learning environment where sixth graders from all over Finland simulate various professions and the functioning of society on a small scale. Up to 90 students can be in our learning environment at most. In Yrityskylä Upper Secondary School, ninth graders lead companies as teams on an experiential game arena. A maximum of 30 students can play in the upper secondary school game situation. Your duties in Yrityskylä include taking care of the schedules and practical arrangements of the event days, guiding students, acting in plot-based roles, and supporting trainees. You will cooperate with teachers and take care of the learning environment both during the day and in the end-of-day cleaning. We offer you a comprehensive and high-quality orientation to the work. In terms of language skills, we expect that you can read students' tasks and guide students in performing the tasks in Finnish, and that you can have short conversations with students in English. We value previous experience in working with children and young people either in hobby activities, voluntary work or in working life. Employment: The employment is part-time and fixed-term between 22.9.2026–7.5.2027. During the school year, you will work according to the number of hours agreed in the contract and your working hours are 3.5–7h between 8 am and 4 pm. You can influence your number of hours during the school year, and it can be, for example, 1–5 shifts per week. Your workplace is located at Herttuantori in Pori. Salary is €12.92/hour.
