The wellbeing services county of South Savo (Eloisa) is seeking two registered nurses for permanent positions in the health services relief staff in Mikkeli, starting August 24, 2026, or by agreement. The rotation area for the registered nurse in the health services relief staff includes the operational ward area of Mikkeli hospital services, as well as the surgical ward and recovery room. In the relief staff, the registered nurse covers sudden absences and is responsible for the nursing care implemented by the registered nurse of their own assigned area in collaboration with other professional groups during their shift. Rotation areas and working hours may change due to staffing needs and operational changes. We are looking for an employee with good stress tolerance and a willingness to work in various multidisciplinary operating environments. We value an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, a patient-centered approach, interest in developing nursing care, ability to work in a team, and good collaboration and professional skills. In the relief staff, you will have the opportunity for interesting, independent, and responsible work. In the aforementioned rotation area, the registered nurse acts as a member of the working group in nursing care. The position requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a health certificate regarding respiratory tuberculosis as per Section 55. A six (6) month probationary period applies to the employment relationship. Applications must be received by the end of the application period.
