The Lapland Welfare Area is seeking a chief physician for a permanent position in the Special Support Rehabilitation Services. These services are part of the centralized rehabilitation services within the rehabilitation division. Start date according to agreement. The main task of the Special Support Rehabilitation Services is to monitor rehabilitation for clients with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder, including related examinations. Rehabilitation monitoring is conducted in close multidisciplinary collaboration, which includes psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and a rehabilitation coordinator, in addition to the chief physician. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring rehabilitation of individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism as part of a multidisciplinary team, including related medical examinations and recommendations. Employment terms are governed by the Medical Agreement. The position includes a six (6) month probation period.
