In the role of Cleaner, you are in a meaningful position influencing the well-being of our residents. You bring a joyful attitude and warmth to the workplace that spreads throughout the house. What does your workday include? - Various cleaning tasks such as cleaning resident rooms, sanitary facilities, and common areas. - Keeping the Attendo home clean and tidy, and caring for the general appearance according to instructions and service descriptions. - Cleaning performed by hand and machine methods according to the maintenance cleaning service description. - Check-cleaning according to the service description, including ensuring the cleanliness of table surfaces, removing distracting loose litter from furniture and floor surfaces, and emptying waste bins. - Making supply orders and monitoring stock rotation. - Monitoring self-monitoring and making entries as well as reacting to deviations. - Maintaining work tools. - Aseptic working method. - Cooperation with care staff (e.g., orientation regarding your own area of responsibility). As a cleaner, your job duties may diversely cover Attendo home meal services, cleanliness, laundry, and assistant nursing tasks. The position is a fixed-term substitute for the period 7.9.2026-31.5.2028. The position is full-time and work is mainly done on weekday mornings. What do we require from you? - No degree is required for the cleaner's position, but work experience in similar tasks and cleaner's training are considered an advantage. - Vaccination protection as intended in Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act to protect customers and patients throughout the employment relationship. - Hygiene passport or readiness to complete it within three months of starting employment. - Fluent Finnish language skills and the ability to work independently. - Criminal record extract for employment lasting over three months (when working with minors, elderly, and disabled).
