Excavator Operator for Fiber Optic Installations

We are seeking two excavator operators to work on cabling and duct excavation projects. Work can begin promptly. Role involves earthworks such as using a chainsaw and earth auger, pulling cables, blowing fiber, taking measurements and installing. Sites start with survey and continue through to commissioning from earthmoving to deployment. You should have prior experience working on multiple sites with varied scopes. Work is performed indoors and outdoors, primarily around Tampere and nearby municipalities. To be considered, you should have: experience in earthmoving and fiber optic work; readiness to work in Finland’s changing weather; a B driving license (a small E-class license is a big plus). If you meet the following, you may be the right person: experience in earthmoving and fiber work with ability to work independently as part of a team; valid professional certificates (occupational safety, traffic safety and emergency aid) - if not, we’ll arrange them before starting; good Finnish language skills (worksite language and customer interactions).
