Childcare Worker

Jomala Municipality’s childcare services are seeking several childcare workers for permanent and fixed-term employment. Möckelö Daycare is seeking one permanent childcare worker at 80% employment from 1 January 2027, provided that the municipal council establishes the position. Vikingen Daycare is seeking several substitute childcare workers in connection with parental leaves, primarily for the period 1 January–30 June 2027, with a possible extension. The qualification requirement is to be a qualified childcare worker in accordance with ÅFS 2020:99. We expect you to have good collaboration skills and to behave professionally toward children, guardians, colleagues, and others you meet in your professional role. You contribute to a positive working atmosphere by being flexible and solution-focused. As a childcare worker, you have an important role in children’s well-being and development. You work in a pedagogical setting that includes care, and are expected to develop the activities together with your colleagues in accordance with current governing documents. The person appointed must present an extract from the criminal records. A probationary period may be applied. Applications must reach Jomala Municipality no later than 22 October 2026.
