Operations Support Manager / Control Center Lead - Unikie Oy - Remote - Global

We are looking for a Head of Operations / Support Center to build and run a central support capability for cutting-edge automated driving deployments. You will take ownership of building a global operations function responsible for monitoring, incident management, and operational coordination across multiple industrial sites. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining service design, operations management, and team building in a mission-critical environment. You will operate and support Unikie Marshalling Solution (UMS) – a driverless automated driving system used in vehicle depots, factories, and logistics yards. UMS enables autonomous movement of vehicles in controlled environments without human drivers, real-time monitoring of vehicles, sensors, infrastructure, and operations, and centralized control via dashboards and operator interfaces. After deployment, the system is operated through a Global Service Center, where monitoring, incident handling, and continuous service improvement take place. Your key responsibilities include building the support capability, establishing operational excellence, leading incident & service operations, defining KPIs and continuous improvement, and building and scaling the team. Skills required include people leadership, technical support, incident management, industrial automation and protocols, and ITIL service operation. Locations are Tampere and Helsinki. We seek a senior operations leader with experience in mission-critical environments such as Operations Center / NOC / SOC, fleet operations, site reliability engineering, industrial automation, and technical support in complex systems. Key competencies include incident management, designing and scaling support organizations, familiarity with monitoring systems, ticketing platforms, ITIL, and high-reliability environments.
