Job Description
The job holder is responsible for achieving sales growth, gaining market share and meeting targets in an assigned area. Prior experience in these markets with Channels will be preferable. In extension to the role person will be responsible to ideate & create a partnership framework not only with commercial but with Government and scientific research bodies. Increase sales volumes, achieve and possibly overachieve the sales targets on his/her territory in respect of Revvity Genomics strategy. Sell the company’s products or services directly to end-users. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis. Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources. Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement. Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel. Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements. Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners. Develops a strong, realistic sales pipeline. Supports business development deals (deal model, diligence, integration, etc.). Deep market knowledge in specific areas. Strong Revvity product/application knowledge. Helps prepare competitive analysis & strategies. Manages sales function/process. Builds strong relationships with customers. The candidate should have a graduate/postgraduate degree (preferably Science & Business Development), experience in Genomics service sales (minimum 10-13 years), and experience working in a fast-paced global environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent written & verbal English, ability to work independently, experience with Workday, proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, high analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to travel 15-20 days per month. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, resourcefulness, organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
