Aalto University Corporate Relations is responsible for coordinating the university’s collaboration with companies and organizations. We serve as a single point of contact for companies and help them find the right experts and partners at Aalto. We manage key partnerships and advance them in close cooperation with Aalto’s leadership, academic staff, and company partners. We develop and offer collaboration models for companies in research, innovation, and talent. We are currently developing services that specifically support our students’ employment, in collaboration with companies and Aalto’s schools. Aalto University Career Design Lab helps students design sustainable, meaningful career paths and supports degree programs in strengthening employability skills and industry connections in education. We are now looking for a Corporate Relations Coordinator (events and marketing) Is communication, marketing, and event production your core expertise? This is a full-time, two year fixed-term position in a development project for employer services and student employment. Your role and goals In this role, you will support our collaboration with employer companies and organizations. You will market our portfolio of services and events aimed at promoting students’ employment both to our external partner network and to students. You will organize and coordinate our student-employer networking events. You will work with a broad network of stakeholders, thus flexibility and strong customer-service mindset is important. Your key responsibilities will be to: - Facilitate interactions between employer companies and students across all Aalto disciplines through multi-channel student and employer communications and networking events - Organize employer-student matchmaking events, communicate about them to various audiences (students, employers) as well as conduct post-event evaluations and compile feedback - Liaise with internal Aalto stakeholders and ensure their commitment to our activities - Design and produce marketing materials and web pages - Develop and maintain events and marketing related contact database (CRM) You will be part of both Aalto University’s Corporate Relations and Career Design Lab teams, with both a line manager and a matrix manager, and close colleagues to support you.
