Ramboll seeks an experienced lead designer to strengthen our mining and environmental construction design capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for design packages for mining and environmental construction projects, ensuring technically robust, feasible solutions that support client objectives. You will work closely with project managers, specialists from various disciplines, clients, and authorities. Projects primarily relate to mining sector design, waste- and recycling-site planning, and circular economy-oriented developments, emphasizing resource efficiency, environmental protection, and practical deliverability. We value broad experience across different design situations and expect you to influence the project from the outset. Your duties include guiding the quality, coordination, and feasibility of design solutions; drawing on your experience to address design, permitting, and execution questions with clients; contributing to bids and client work, and strengthening Ramboll’s mining and environmental construction expertise. Ramboll operates nationwide with 21 offices; our environmental construction specialists work in Kuopio, Kokkola, Lahti, Jyväskylä, among others. Flexible remote work is available.
