Practical Nurse

Erityiskansanopiston kannatusyhdistys ry, Alajärvi Lehtimäen Opisto is looking for a practical nurse for an instructor position. The instructor's work involves versatile support and assistance for young and adult students in their studies and daily activities. The eligibility requirement is a degree as a practical nurse or another equivalent degree. Experience in disability services is considered an advantage. Remuneration and terms of employment are based on the collective agreement for the private education sector. The selected person must present an acceptable medical certificate of their health status and a criminal record extract as referred to in the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002) before the employment is confirmed. The probationary period is 6 months. Lehtimäen Opisto is a national folk high school maintained by Erityiskansanopistoyhdistys ry, located in Lehtimäki, the city of Alajärvi. The institute organizes educational rehabilitation primarily for people with multiple and severe disabilities and offers long-term education, short courses, and therapy services. Approximately 80 people work at the institute. The institute is a smoke-free workplace.
