We are seeking a Service Coordinator for the Food First project for the period 1.9.2026 - 31.3.2028. The Service Coordinator's task is to develop a city-wide model for deploying services provided by the City of Turku in connection with food aid operations. The development work is carried out in extensive cooperation with the city's service providers. The Service Coordinator is also responsible for guiding and supporting the service-producing units in the implementation and embedding of the model. Additionally, the Service Coordinator will operate within food aid activities to meet clients, provide practical service guidance, and test the service being developed. The position requires a developmental and innovative approach as well as an understanding of the services provided by the city and the need for them. Additionally, the Service Coordinator must have the ability to encounter people in challenging life situations and guide them toward the services they need. Successful performance of the duties requires experience in practical client work, an independent work style, and good information-gathering skills. The eligibility requirement is a university degree.
