Are you dreaming of owning a café? We are looking for an entrepreneur for a new café in Turku. (Note! We are not looking for employees, only an entrepreneur.) Roberts Coffee is a Finnish café chain known for high-quality coffee roasted in its own small roastery, a diverse product range and welcoming cafés. As an entrepreneur, you will have a recognised brand, an established and developing business concept, and the chain’s support with setting up the café, training, marketing, purchasing and daily operations. As a Roberts Coffee entrepreneur, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your café, its staff, customer service and profitable business. You will take an active role in the café, ensure consistent quality and implement the chain’s concept while taking local opportunities into account. The work combines people leadership, sales, developing the customer experience and practical café work. The chain supports the entrepreneur at every stage. What does the chain offer? - Roberts Coffee offers the entrepreneur a recognised brand, an established and continuously developing café concept, quality products and centralised purchasing solutions. - The entrepreneur receives comprehensive induction and training, as well as ongoing support in business management, marketing, product selection and the café’s daily operations. - The chain’s shared expertise and cooperation with other entrepreneurs support the café’s success. What do we expect from the entrepreneur? - The entrepreneur is an active, service-minded and goal-oriented business developer who enjoys being around people and participates in the everyday life of the café. - They have good capabilities in staff leadership, sales and financial management, and a desire to offer customers an excellent café experience. - The entrepreneur is collaborative and has the ability and willingness to build local networks and commit to the Roberts Coffee concept. - Previous experience in the café or restaurant sector is an advantage, but an entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to learn and strong motivation are most important. - As a Roberts Coffee entrepreneur, you are responsible for all business operations of your café, including the initial investment. You must have the financial ability to invest in entrepreneurship. The initial investment is €150,000–€250,000, and typically the entrepreneur’s own-financing share is 20–30% of the initial investment.
