Job Details
Responsibilities
- Survey and document project sites with photos and videos for training purposes
- Plan and conduct studies and events related to the project themes in the field, in classroom and online
- Provide training yourself as well
- Manage project finances, monitoring, and reporting
- Take care of the project communications plan and active implementation of communications
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and other Metsäkeskus projects and experts
- Maintain a proactive and independent work attitude, interact with stakeholders
- Travel within the region and be based at Joensuu office
- Support in arranging events and activities within the project scope
Requirements
- Suitable education, for example forester engineer or agricultural and forestry sciences master
- Experience organizing and delivering events and trainings for professionals and landowners
- Public speaking and good interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented and independent work approach
- Strong Finnish language skills (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel within the province and ability to use own car
