At the Langenselbold site, we produce microbiological safety benches, CO2 incubators, microbiological incubators, heating and drying ovens, vacuum drying ovens and high-temperature ovens on an area of almost 15,000 m². The sales and order processing departments operating throughout Europe cover additional product areas, such as laboratory consumables and water purification systems. Furthermore, Langenselbold is the seat of the EMEA LabAutomation Business, which produces, among other things, movers, automated incubators & storage devices, control software and automated systems for various applications such as synthetic biology, analytical workflows and high throughput applications. Langenselbold is also the global seat of the Cytomat product line (automated incubators). Currently, over 700 employees are employed at the site in the areas of production, development, product management, purchasing, sales, service, project management and administration. We are looking for you as: Working Student (m/f/d) Fixed-term (min. 12 months) - Part-time (20 hrs/week) Your tasks: - Support the Lean department in the continuous improvement of safety, quality and productivity in all areas of production and in some cases also in administration - Collaboration in the Lean team with 3 experienced Lean experts - Maintenance of existing software solutions such as the digital teamboard of production - Independent processing of projects or sub-projects (examples: redesign of work areas, optimization of material flow, qualification of a measuring device, ...) - Supervised implementation and introduction of Lean methods (examples: 5S, Digital Daily Management...) - Independent development and practical implementation of problem solutions with production employees - Other diverse tasks that arise depending on the current optimization priorities and provide a very good insight into the industrial production of medical devices - Consideration of previous knowledge, studies and interests in the choice of tasks - Combination with an internship possible Your qualifications: - Started technical or production-related studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production technology, supply chain, medical technology, ...) or a started non-technical study with experience in the technical field (e.g. vocational training, private interests, ...) - Experience in using software incl. ideally basic knowledge of programming - Interest in a long-term collaboration of at least 12 months - Interest in getting to know the environment of a production plant and good technical understanding - Initial knowledge of processes in production or its supply is desirable - Flexibility and willingness to participate in a wide variety of projects - Very good German language skills in writing and speaking are mandatory - High self-motivation, reliability and good communication and persuasion skills - Interest in getting to know a wide spectrum of processes and challenges in production Interested? Requirements
- Started technical or production-related studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production technology, supply chain, medical technology) or non-technical studies with technical experience
- Experience using software, ideally with basic programming knowledge
- Interest in long-term collaboration (min. 12 months)
- Good technical understanding and interest in production environments
- Initial knowledge of production processes or supply is desirable
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in various projects
- Mandatory very good German language skills (written and spoken)
- High self-motivation, reliability, and strong communication/persuasion skills
