Reliability Engineer

Westdorpe Reliability Engineer role with Outokumpu involves preventing failures, performing technical analyses, and ensuring installations run reliably. Responsibilities include analyzing failures and conducting root cause analyses, developing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, drafting improvement plans to raise equipment reliability, signaling risks to prevent future breakdowns, supporting technical improvement and investment projects, and collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams. You’ll monitor equipment performance and translate data into concrete actions, and work in a modern industrial environment with complex installations. The role requires a technical education (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation), experience in an industrial or technical setting, knowledge of maintenance and reliability techniques (RCA, FMEA, TPM, RCM), experience with CMMS and data analysis, strong analytical skills, and the ability to engage colleagues and stakeholders in improvement efforts.
