Full flex without core time) Standard Working Hours: 7 hours 30 minutes (Break 12:00-13:00) Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, Year-end/New Year, Summer Vacation Salary: Theoretical Annual Income: Approx. 5 million to 8 million JPY (Depending on experience, negotiable) Breakdown: Monthly Base Salary: 350,000 to 550,000 JPY (Depending on experience/ability) Specialist allowance or sales allowance provided (differs by applicable class) Bonus: Paid according to performance (Company/Individual) (20% of base annual income if On-Target) Salary Increase: Once a year (Actual: every July) Bonus: Twice a year (Actual: every July and December) Responsibilities: - Account sales activities for Analytical Instruments Division products (EDS, EBSD, manipulators, Raman, nanoindenters, software, etc. for electron microscopes). - Regional territory sales activities for Analytical Instruments Division products. - Development and relationship building with prospective customers in the assigned territory, and maintenance and development of relationships with existing customers. Responsible for the entire sales process from lead generation to technical review, negotiation, order, and delivery. - Sales operations to solve issues for existing customers. - Inputting the latest sales status into the CRM system or sales inquiry management table. Working with electron microscope manufacturers, you will sell analytical devices (EDS, EBSD, Raman) and manipulators installed in electron microscopes. The main end-users are R&D departments, analysis centers, and quality control departments of private companies, as well as research facilities of universities and government agencies. You will promote company products to new and existing customers. The assigned area is Central to Eastern Japan, and in addition to visiting sales, you will be engaged in promotional activities in Eastern Japan, such as planning and implementing seminars and participating in exhibitions and academic conferences. Therefore, there will be domestic business trips several times a month. Since the development and manufacturing bases of this division are in the UK, English communication (mainly email) is required for delivery management, and English proficiency to read documents such as product specifications sent from headquarters is also necessary. Education: University graduate or higher Required Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications, Skills: - Several years of sales experience in physicochemical equipment or analytical instrument-related products. - Experience in sales of Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM), and FIB-SEM equipment is preferred. - Experience in achieving goals, strong motivation, and execution power. - Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Interpersonal relationship building, negotiation skills, and proactiveness. - Basic business document creation ability. Presentation skills. - English proficiency: TOEIC > 650 is desirable. Requirements
