Original job description

We are now looking for a Project Specialist for the Fiksut varautuu – työkalupakki nuorille project at our Kouvola office. The duties include planning and developing activities, providing practical guidance in rural-area lower secondary schools, upper secondary institutions and youth hobby groups, as well as communications and networking. The Project Specialist will also contribute to monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the activities and finances. You are an expert in household everyday life and preparedness who can turn information into practical action. You have: · a good understanding of independent preparedness, household emergency supplies and the 72-hour preparedness recommendations · good capabilities in everyday-life management and food and nutrition guidance · good interaction and presentation skills and the ability to connect with young people and inspire them to act · a practical and solution-oriented approach · experience in training, advisory work and non-profit work · readiness to work independently and in cooperation with different actors · good communication and digital skills The employment is part-time (60% working time) and begins by agreement as soon as possible. The employment is fixed-term and ends on 30 June 2028. The advisory-sector collective agreement is followed.
