We are seeking a professional and motivated DESIGNER for our client SATA Shipbuilding Oy's growing and skilled design team. The designer will be employed directly by the client. The designer participates in the preparation of auxiliary plans for the manufacture of steel structures and projects. You will work as part of SATA Shipbuilding's strong design team, where you will have good opportunities to develop and grow your expertise. Job description: * Preparation of auxiliary plans for the manufacture of steel structures and projects (including supports during steel fabrication, lifts, transfers, and transport) * Cooperation with production, project staff, and other design functions * Participation in the production and maintenance of technical documentation We expect from you: * A degree in engineering or a Master's degree in technology (mechanical engineering or shipbuilding) * 2–5 years of experience in design roles * Proficiency in at least one well-known 3D design software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) * Basic knowledge of strength of materials and structural mechanics, as well as a genuine interest in these areas * Oral and written English language skills * Cooperation and communication skills * Initiative, problem-solving ability, and a desire to develop * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
