NDT Sales Engineer

Our client Holger Hartmann Oy is launching a completely new non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment business in Finland and is now looking for an independent, travel-ready salesperson to bring advanced technology and measuring equipment to industrial customers. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop a new business independently, with the support of experienced international colleagues, and to bring advanced technology and modern inspection solutions to Finnish industry. In this independent and mobile role, you will build and develop Holger Hartmann Oy’s new NDT equipment business in Finland. You will identify industrial customers’ quality assurance and inspection needs, develop customer relationships, and present advanced NDT and imaging technologies. Although you will be a pioneer in NDT business in Finland, you will not build the business alone. You will be supported by Holger Hartmann Oy’s own sales team and experienced NDT specialists at sister companies in other countries. You can use their technical expertise, market experience, and international collaboration network to grow the new business. The role focuses on launching NDT equipment sales in Finland and includes active customer-facing travel, product presentations, and offer negotiations. Responsibilities: • Launching and growing the new NDT equipment business in Finland • Actively acquiring new customers and arranging customer meetings • Visiting customers and identifying technical needs around Finland • Presenting NDT equipment and arranging demonstrations for customers • Preparing technical offers and closing sales • Working with international equipment manufacturers We are looking for: • Understanding of NDT methods such as UT/PAUT, RT/DR, or CT, or of NDT service business • Fluent Finnish and good English • A category B driving licence and readiness for active travel (approximately 75 travel days per year) • A self-starting, proactive, sales-oriented attitude We value: • Experience in technical sales or new-customer acquisition • Previous work as an NDT inspector (for example, Level 1 or Level 2) • A relevant technical educational background, such as engineering To succeed in the role, you are optimistic, resilient under pressure, goal-oriented, sociable, responsible, and curious.
