About the role

**We are looking for a participating site manager** Restaurointi Södergård Oy's operations are growing, and we are seeking a new addition to our team. We are looking for a participating site manager with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to lead projects. We do not require manual skills in restoration or repair construction – the most important things are accountability, initiative, and a desire to develop our company together with us. **Job Description** As a participating site manager, you will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and coordination. Your primary role is site management: keeping things organized, managing schedules, and ensuring that construction sites progress smoothly. You will also participate in field work as an assistant. However, we do not expect professional carpenter skills, but rather a readiness to take action and learn on the job alongside our experienced professionals. You will mainly work with demanding sites, and our clientele consists of both public and private customers. Your sites will be located primarily in the Satakunta region, but occasional travel outside Satakunta is to be expected. **What we offer you?** We offer you the opportunity to do meaningful and visible work with Finland's built cultural heritage as part of a developing and skilled team. You will get to build a sustainable future through diverse and rewarding projects – in an atmosphere where employees' expertise is valued and supported. With us: - you get responsibility and the opportunity to influence your own job description - you get to learn restoration and repair construction from experienced professionals - salary and employment benefits are competitive - we follow the construction industry collective agreement - working hours are generally during office hours on weekdays **We hope you have:** - an interest in preserving architectural heritage - the right attitude and a desire to learn new things - preferably a degree as a construction foreman or engineer - the ability to lead projects independently and goal-orientedly - good problem-solving skills and schedule management skills - experience in supervisory or site management roles - good interaction skills and a team player mindset - readiness to also participate in field work as an assistant **Application Instructions** Send your application and CV by September 3, 2026. Briefly explain in your application why you are the right person for the position. We will begin interviews during the application period, so please send your application promptly.
