Job Description
Restaurant Kekäle is one of the restaurants at Design Hotel Levin and Levi Hotel Spa. We are looking for a skilled and energetic floor supervisor for the winter season 2026-2027. Design Hotel Levi and Levi Hotels Spa are located at the foot of Finland's leading ski resort slopes, in the heart of Levi's mountain village, close to our spa pools and wellness services, a diverse selection of restaurants, and comprehensive services. The wild mountain nature is always just around the corner. Here, you can combine work and leisure in stunning mountain scenery and gather a backpack full of new experiences and adventures for the future! The open charcoal grill kitchen is unique in Finland: the flickering fire, the crackling embers, and the intoxicating aroma of dishes being prepared combined with locally produced and authentic Lapland flavors create a unique restaurant experience. As a floor supervisor, you will ensure the smooth daily operation of the restaurant and a high-quality customer experience. Lead the team by example and create a positive working atmosphere during the busy season. Your key responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency during your shift, daily team leadership, guidance, and support with work shift planning. You will be responsible for developing the customer experience, maintaining high service standards, actively promoting sales, and ensuring smooth cash register operations. Additionally, you will manage table reservations, coordinate customer flow, and work closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service. You will also supervise hygiene and quality standards and adherence to guidelines. The work begins in November and continues until April. The restaurant is open daily during the season, with work shifts mainly in the evening, but morning shifts are also available as needed. Due to seasonal fluctuations, the workload peaks during the high season but eases at the beginning and end of the season. The minimum working hours are 90 hours/3 months. We hope you have: - Previous experience in the restaurant industry in supervisory or responsible roles - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions - A positive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused attitude - Fluent Finnish language skills - Good English language skills An alcohol service and hygiene passport are considered an advantage but can be obtained later. We offer you: - An international atmosphere in Finland's largest ski resort - Opportunities to develop as a hotel and restaurant professional - Seasonal employment according to collective agreement, with experience years taken into account (15.60€/h - 16.93€/h) or as agreed - Employee benefits from Barona, in addition to the hotel’s staff benefits. Are you considering moving to the area? If your accommodation situation is not yet settled, you can stay in affordable staff accommodation, where a bed in a shared apartment is available. Do you see yourself as independent and proactive, not afraid of new and unpredictable situations, and ready for new challenges? Apply for this position, as interviews and selections are conducted during the application period. Barona is the recruitment partner, and the employment contract will be made with Barona. Please submit your application and CV through the recruitment system. For data protection reasons and to ensure equal candidate experience, we do not process applications sent by email.
