Communications Specialist

Veikkaus is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist with a strong focus on financial communications to join their communications unit in a permanent, full-time role. The role is critical as the Finnish gaming market opens to competition and the company expands internationally. The specialist will plan, implement, and develop financial communications for the Veikkaus Group, targeting both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include creating engaging content regarding business development, market trends, strategy, and future direction. The role involves sparring with management and experts to articulate complex financial and business matters effectively. The specialist will produce press releases, presentations, and reports, while also measuring the impact of communications using data, analytics, and AI. Participation in the communications unit's general activities and occasional on-call duties is also required. Candidates should have several years of experience in financial communications within demanding, competitive environments, and experience in international settings is an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish and English is essential, as is the ability to use AI tools in a business-supporting manner. A relevant university degree is required.
