Carpenter for Lapland and experienced construction worker for Rovaniemi Hello, you! We are looking for carpenters for our client's construction sites in Lapland, including Muonio and Rovaniemi, as well as an experienced construction worker for interior work in Rovaniemi. What is it about? Carpenter Our client has both ongoing and upcoming construction sites starting during the autumn for which professional carpenters are sought. The sites are located in the Lapland region. The work is suitable for both locals and those interested in travel work - accommodation can be arranged if necessary. Work starts immediately upon finding suitable candidates and as autumn projects begin; the duration varies depending on the site. The sites are mainly new constructions, but there are also a few renovation projects. The tasks are diverse carpentry duties, varying slightly by site - including framing, boarding, furniture installation, and finishing work. We hope applicants have a vocational qualification in construction and/or previous experience in diverse carpentry work, as well as good blueprint reading skills and proficiency in using lasers. Additionally, a valid occupational safety card is required, and due to the location of the sites, access to a private car. Own tools are not mandatory but are considered an advantage. Experienced construction worker We are looking for an experienced construction worker / carpenter for interior work at our client's house factory located in Rovaniemi. Tasks include, for example, framing, paneling, furniture installation, molding, boxing, as well as floor and ceiling work. Work starts immediately upon finding a suitable candidate and is estimated to last until the end of the year. A high-performing worker may have the opportunity to be employed directly by the client company for the next season. We are primarily looking for locals or people living in the Rovaniemi commuting area, but if you live further away and are interested in relocating for work, we can assist with accommodation if necessary. Working hours are Mon-Fri 7:00-15:30, and hours can be worked ahead during the week to leave slightly earlier on Fridays. We hope applicants have a vocational qualification in construction and previous experience in various interior works. Additionally, a valid occupational safety card, good blueprint reading skills, and experience using lasers are required.
