We are seeking for the City of Mänttä-Vilppula: SCHOOL ASSISTANT 30h/week The position is located in the special education class of Savosenmäki School. Your task will be to work as a school assistant in a special education class for 0-9-year-olds, which consists of eight students. Savosenmäki School is a primary school with approximately 280 students. The employment is permanent and begins on September 8, 2026. Eligibility requirements include a degree as a school assistant, practical nurse, or other equivalent suitable training. The working hours for the school assistant are 30 h/week. We hope the applicant has a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and active attitude, good interaction skills, and proficiency in information and communication technology. The work also requires the desire and ability to work closely in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the relevant municipal official and employment collective agreements. A one-month probationary period applies to the employment. We request that you bring certificates proving eligibility to any potential interview. Before the selection is confirmed, an acceptable medical certificate and a criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 must also be presented.
